Never Knows Best

First and foremost, the cover chapter: Mr. 3 arrives and turns himself into the Marines. Or is Mr.3, Bon Kurei-sama?

We all saw Luffy’s transformation to Gear 2 back at chapter 387. Right now he’s using that power against Blueno. Luffy is generating some steam from that “process”. At first Blueno seems so confident that he’ll win. When Luffy is going to attack Blueno, Blueno used Soru to dodge Luffy’s attack. But Blueno’s Soru is kind of slow as Luffy showed his new developed attack — Gomu Gomu no Jet Pistol. That attack hurts Blueno so bad. Blueno then retreats with his Air Door, thinking how Luffy did that. He now devised a plan on how to defeat Luffy. Blueno opens his Air Door behind Luffy and tried to attack him but Luffy quickly tosses him. After Blueno landed on the ground, Luffy is now preparing for his next attack. Bleuno then uses his tekkai-kou (his max. tekkai) to absorb Luffy’s attack. But Luffy’s attack is no ordinary. Luffy strikes his another new improved attack — Gomu Gomu no Jet Bazooka. Luffy’s attack knocked Bleuno down as his tekkai-kou can’t absorbed Luffy’s impact.

Meanwhile at the courtyard, Sogeking is leading the giants, Oimo and Kashi, to the courthouse. Yokozuna also helps them by blocking the Marines and the Agents to the entrance. Moz and Kiwi in the other hand, are headed to where the levers of the bridge are located (Moz = Left Tower, Kiwi = Right Tower). Zambai and some FF members is fighting Baskerville. The Strawhats are still inside the courthouse fighting Marines and Agents. Zoro on the other hand is fighting the 2 jurors.

Spandam then told his agents to take Robin and Franky to the “Gates of Justice”. But one Marine replied that the escort ship isn’t ready to depart yet to the “Gates of Justice” . But Spandam replied that he doesn’t care. He said that the Strawhats won’t be able to do anything once they’re on the other side. Spandam also ordered the CP9 to round up

Meanwhile at the Enies Lobby Main Front Gate, Chimney was surprised that the giants are now on their sides. Kokoro said that no man with common sense would dare to go to this island. Kokoro told Chimney to watch them carefully, as whether they’ll still live or die, the result in which nobody was able to do for the past 2 centuries, would startle the entire world. When the battle ends, that Strawhat’s name would go around the world.

Out of nowhere, Luffy shouts very loud for Robin. Spandam is now freaked out…

My thoughts:
Well I was bit surprised that Luffy learned his new moves through a “process”. Some fan claims that this process is called “Vulcanization”. Pretty interesting theory if you tell me :D It’s nice that his power-up is based on something, not just a direct rip-off from DBZ. I hope Oda still remains creative and original.
