Yesterday (Nov 29) was the death anniversary of my Dad. It’s been 11 yrs. Bilis talaga ng panahon no? I really miss my Dad. I hope he is still here today, para hindi nahihirapan Mom ko magwork. Anyway, I had a talk with my mom last Monday. We talked about Dad, and with that talk I found that she really admires him that much, from work to raising us. She also said that Dad was actually the idea-giver at PAL. Siya yung palaging nagpropropose ng ideas to the Board of Directors, and take note VP pa lang siya nun. Actually siya lang daw na VP ang palaging sinasama kapag may meeting ang Board of Directors. Natatawa pa nga Mom ko kasi palagi daw pagkatapos ng board meeting, sa mom ko pumupunta yung mga tao, tinatanong sa kanya kung ano latest. LOL. Pero sabi naman ng Mom ko, Dad keeps the info confidential kahit sa kanya pa, lumalabas lang ang info kapag pwede na siya irelease or narelease na. My Dad is also the negotiator on PAL, buying airplines/parts of the airplane abroad. He’s been to many places abroad. Europe, Asia, US… lahat na ata ng continents napuntahan na niya.
My Dad died at Indonesia while attending a business trip. Darn, if he is still only alive today. Mataas na sana position niya sa PAL. Oh well, I really miss him :(
